Founded in 1988 by a group of Christians concerned about the trafficking of Taiwanese girls, the Garden of Hope Foundation has expanded its services over the past 30 years. From halfway houses for girls to addressing gender-based violence such as domestic abuse and sexual assault, it now operates more than 50 service sites in 15 counties and cities across the country. Each year, it helps nearly 20,000 survivors of gender-based violence to break free from its effects and begin anew. In 2004, the Garden of Hope Foundation New York branch was officially established in Flushing, bringing the experience of Taiwan to serve local Chinese-speaking battered women. The organisation's international outreach didn't stop there; in 2011, it expanded its efforts to Cambodia by establishing the Garden of Hope Foundation Cambodia branch. In addition to training local Cambodian staff who come to Taiwan, experienced members of Loving and Caring have even travelled to Cambodia to provide on-the-ground experience and guidance to facilitate the establishment of services by the Cambodian branch. The Garden of Hope Foundation is dedicated to preventing and eliminating the harm of gender-based violence and strives to create a gender-friendly environment.

For this fundraising event,  Fidelity Taiwan colleagues will gather and join Taipei Marathon on 14th December, hoping to draw attention and invite everyone to the event.

勵馨基金會於1988年由一群基督徒因關心台灣少女被人口販運之議題而成立，30多年來，從少女中途之家到擴展家暴、性侵等性別暴力服務，目前在全國15個縣市有50餘個服務據點，每年服務近兩萬名性別暴力倖存者脫離暴力影響，展開新生活。2004年正式在紐約法拉盛成立勵馨紐約分會，傳輸台灣經驗到紐約服務當地華裔受暴婦女；勵馨拓展國際據點的腳步不就此停歇，2011年更跨足柬埔寨，成立柬埔寨勵馨分會，除了柬埔寨當地工作人員來到台灣受訓，勵馨資深工作人員甚至親赴柬埔寨，實地提供實務經驗教學，促成柬埔寨勵馨分會的安置服務提供。勵馨致力於預防及消彌性別暴力之傷害，創造性別友善的環境。

為了響應捐款活動，富達臺灣同事們預計在12/14號參加臺北馬拉松，期望能吸引大家目光並參與活動。

If you need a Taiwanese tax-deductible donation receipt, please tick the "Leave a comment" box on the Garden of Hope Foundation donation page and leave the following messages. 1. A Taiwanese donation receipt is required. 2. Your full name, email, and address (receipt will be sent by email if possible)3. If you want the Garden of Hope Foundation to upload the donation information to Taiwan's National Tax Bureau, please also provide your ID number.

For transparency and accountability reasons, only one receipt can be issued for each donation, and the same donation cannot be issued with different donor names. The receipt you receive will exclude the amount of the Matching Grant donation. In addition, due to currency exchange and bank processing fees, the foundation will issue a donation receipt showing the final TWD amount received.
