My grandmother grew up in Mwanza, Tanzania -  place that holds a special meaning for me. Today, many primary and secondary schools in Mwanza face a serious challenge: a lack of proper desks and chairs. Students often have to sit on the floor or share broken furniture, which makes learning uncomfortable and discouraging.

The Desk and Chair Foundation (TDCF) is working hard to change this by repairing and restoring school desks and chairs so that children can learn in a safe and dignified environment. I’m proud to support this incredible initiative and have set myself a goal: to help repair 1000x desks. Each desk costs only £5 to repair, which means even a small donation can make a huge difference.

To raise funds, I’ll be taking on a personal challenge on December 20th - a 5km park run while pushing my daughter in her stroller! This is more than just a run; it’s a way to combine fitness, family, and purpose to make a lasting impact on children’s education.
