Idia’s Community Kitchen aims to be the change we want to see in our community.
A Non-Profit Charity we are committed to reducing food waste by recycling the surplus food donations from local supermarkets and businesses into a variety of tasty meals made with love. Reducing poverty by ensuring all who visit us have access to food, regardless of their situation, optional support on sourcing clothing and basic household essentials.
Treating all who visit us as family, for some local residents our volunteers friendly chat may be the only interaction they may have that day. Most of all we bring the community together spreading love and compassion to each person we meet.
Signposting and support for referrals upon request to other local organisations which may improve their situation.
