Founded in Paris in 1971 by a group of journalists and doctors, Médecins sans frontières is a global movement of nearly 68,000 people who provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from health care. MSF places rapid and effective response to emergencies at the heart of its work, and independence, impartiality and neutrality as core principles. With a shared commitment to humanitarian medical action, MSF volunteers and staff are dedicated to saving as many lives as possible. MSF is currently funded by individual donors and private institutions (private companies and foundations).

無國界醫生在1971年由一群醫生和記者於巴黎成立，目前已成長為近68,000人的獨立國際醫療人道救援組織，致力為受武裝衝突、傳染病、流行病和天災影響，以及遭排拒於醫療體系以外的人群提供緊急醫療援助。立即給予快速且有效的緊急援助是無國界醫生的核心工作，而獨立性、不偏性和中立性是他們的核心理念。無國界醫生的志工和成員秉持對於人道醫療援助的精神，致力於挽救更多流失的生命。目前無國界醫生是藉個人捐贈和私人機構(公司和基金會等)持續運轉。

For this fundraising event,  Fidelity Taiwan colleagues will gather and join Taipei Marathon on 14th December, hoping to draw attention and invite everyone to the event.

為了響應捐款活動，富達臺灣同事們預計在12/14號參加臺北馬拉松，期望能吸引大家目光並參與活動。

If you need a Taiwanese tax-deductible donation receipt, please tick the "Leave a comment" box on the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) donation page and leave the following messages. 1. A Taiwanese donation receipt is required. 2. Your full name, email, and address (receipt will be sent by email if possible)3. If you want MSF to upload the donation information to Taiwan's National Tax Bureau, please also provide your ID number.

For transparency and accountability reasons, only one receipt can be issued for each donation, and the same donation cannot be issued with different donor names. The receipt you receive will exclude the amount of the Matching Grant donation. In addition, due to currency exchange and bank processing fees, the MSF will issue a donation receipt showing the final TWD amount received. 若您需收到無國界醫生捐款收據(可扣抵台灣所得稅)，請務必在進行捐款的頁面中，「與慈善機構分享的資訊」下勾選「撰寫評論」(Leave a comment)，並留下以下資訊 :1.說明需台灣捐款收據(Taiwan donation receipt required)2.留下您的收據資料，包含收據抬頭、email、收件地址等(將優先提供電子收據)3.若您需要無國界醫生將捐款資料上傳至國稅局，請一併提供您的身分證字號。(日後當您申報減除捐贈扣除額時，免再檢具紙本捐款收據，即可完成申報。)
